Prototype & Development / Prototyping for Low-Production parts.

Because there is always some trial and error, and learning curve for all new products, many of our Designers, Engineers, and development teams will prototype the new designs—so they can “Debug” the:

  • Function
  • Appearance
  • Tooling Challenges
  • Fit and function/ tolerances
  • Assembly procedures
  • Human factors (for use)

Control Plastics offers all Prototyping Processes for your production needs.

We at Control, pride ourselves on helping customers in these steps. In order to ready your part for production, we thoroughly document the prototyping process. This is to ensure that there is no repeating the same steps when you go into production with us (or another vendor). If you would like to continue into production after prototyping with Control Plastics, it would be our greatest pleasure to serve you and your production needs going forward.

Our experienced engineers and project managers will work on solutions to breakdown and fix as many issues as possible before we build your tools. We have 10 engineers just for Prototyping, and 70 for Production. Note that there are different levels for Design For Manufacturing (DFM) for prototypes than just establishing prototypes prior to production.
